A Pebble background watchapp (C, Pebble SDK 4.x) watches for pulse loss with stillness, falls with immobility, and missed check-ins; an Android companion service (Kotlin) relays to a self-hosted FastAPI escalation server. Alerts escalate in stages from wearer confirmation to relatives to an organization on standby, via Telegram, ntfy or email; humans decide whether to call emergency services, the system never auto-dials. It is a personal alarm, not a medical device. Status: beta preparation; the full chain has run 24/7 on real hardware since August 2026 and passed a seven-day soak test with zero false alarms.
